Patience is a virtue...so they say.

I like going for walks...even when it's cold. But no one has been walking me lately. My mom hates the cold. See how deep the snow was here?

Today the little girl is home sick from school. She is watching TV...and my mom is drinking coffee and on the computer. Do you like my tail? I try to catch it sometimes.

I hope they will notice me waiting patiently by the back door.

The other week I went on a hike with my family. It was fun. There was one of those big puddle pf water things and it was quite refressing. Do you ever go on hikes?

A playdate with abby

Today I had a play date with Abby while Abby's mom and my mom went for a walk. It was very fun. We went running through the woods and wrestling and even little sniffing each other. And boy boomer I know your feelings completely because boy, Abby is like totally attracti... ahem, anyway I'll just summon it all up for you. We ran around, had fun and did what most dogs do on play dates.

Today's walk

The other day me and mom and the boy went for a walk. It was very enjoyable. To the right is a picture of me and mom walking down the path.
About half way down the trail I found some nice raccoon droppings to roll in. Mom and the boy were kind of disgusted. Hey it's kind of like deodorant. Got to get that smell on me so all the girl dogs will like me better, not that I'm desporate or any thing.

What I found on the side of the sidewalk

This is me on my walk sniffing something I just found but my mom had to pull me away from it. I didn't even get a chance to roll in it or eat it.

Today's thoughts: My sniffing ability

Today I decided to sniff the boxes in the room the humans are doing constructing in. I don't see why they even bother. It sounds like too much work. The boxes smelled fine nothing great or anything. One thing my family hates is when I'm walking and I find something good to smell and the humans have to drag me away from it. Sometimes it smell so good that I even roll in it. Dogs have an amazing ability. We can sniff things over real good. (that's how I can tell if one of my humans has touched a dog lately.) Us dogs even help humans with our nose like in those dumb human TV shows (like C.O.P.S. and C.S.I) Well I guess if those humans were smart enough to put a dog in there show, I guess it's not dumb. I'm not sure how to end this post so I'll end it here.

Steps for preparing for a walk

There are many ways and steps for preparing for a walk. Here is what I do.

Step #1: wait patiently for the human to get ready.

(This part is very frustrating.)

Step #2: Get your leach on.

(This I also make hard on the humans)

Step #3: Go!!!!!!!

This is the fun part!!!!!!

Down the Trail

Went for a walk today with Mom and the boy. Saw a rabbit and chased it. She got away! Met up with a coupla golden retrievers. Stopped and sniffed them. They seemed cool. Wanted to play and so did they...but my mom and their dad pulled us apart. Humans just don't understand sometimes. Oh well...as long as I'm fed, I'm happy!
